The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra is here, and iQOO has taken a clear approach with its latest smartphone: focus heavily on performance, gaming and battery life.
Launched in China on August 18, 2026, the Neo 11 Ultra is the first smartphone to use MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500M chipset. It also packs a massive 9,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, 100W wired charging and a 6.83-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
This is not a phone designed primarily around having the most advanced camera system. Instead, iQOO is targeting users who want flagship-level performance and long battery life.
Design & Build Quality
The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra has a premium-looking design with a metal frame and a large rear camera module.
The phone is available in three colours, including Wind Chaser, Shadow Black and Chi Guangbai. The design is substantial because of the large battery inside.
It measures around 8.6–9.1mm thick depending on the reported configuration and weighs around 225 grams. That makes it heavier than many conventional flagship smartphones, but the trade-off is the unusually large battery.
The phone also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, giving it stronger protection than many phones in its class.
Build highlights
- Metal frame
- Premium rear design
- IP68 + IP69 protection
- Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor
- Large gaming-oriented cooling system
Display
The Neo 11 Ultra features a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED display with a sharp 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The panel uses Visionox F2 luminescent material and is designed to provide both high image quality and improved power efficiency. Reported brightness figures reach up to 4,500 nits peak brightness, although maximum brightness figures can vary depending on the measurement conditions.
The high refresh rate should be particularly useful for gaming, scrolling and animations.
Display highlights
- 6.83-inch AMOLED
- 2K resolution
- 144Hz refresh rate
- Flat panel
- Visionox F2 material
- High brightness
- Eye-comfort features
For gamers, the combination of 2K resolution and 144Hz is one of the phone’s biggest attractions.
Performance
Performance is where the iQOO Neo 11 Ultra really stands out.
The phone is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500M, a custom 3nm chipset developed with iQOO. The processor features a high-performance CPU configuration and is paired with fast LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The phone also includes iQOO’s Q2 gaming chip, which is designed to enhance gaming performance and image processing.
An 8K Ice Dome 3D VC liquid-cooling system is used to help control temperatures during demanding workloads.
Performance highlights
- MediaTek Dimensity 9500M
- 3nm manufacturing process
- Up to 16GB RAM according to launch coverage
- Up to 512GB storage
- LPDDR5X Ultra RAM
- UFS 4.1 storage
- Dedicated Q2 gaming chip
- Advanced liquid cooling
For gaming and heavy multitasking, this hardware package is clearly the main reason to consider the Neo 11 Ultra.
Software & AI
The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 in China. The software includes iQOO and vivo’s latest interface features, AI tools and cross-device capabilities.
The software experience is particularly important on a performance-focused phone because gaming tools, performance controls and background management can influence the overall experience.
International versions, if launched, could use a different software configuration.
Camera
The camera system shows where iQOO has made some compromises to keep the phone focused on performance.
The Neo 11 Ultra features a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 16MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The lack of a dedicated telephoto camera means this isn’t designed to compete directly with camera-focused Ultra smartphones.
Camera setup
| Camera | Specification |
|---|---|
| Main | 50MP with OIS |
| Ultra-wide | 8MP |
| Front | 16MP |
| Telephoto | Not included |
The 50MP primary sensor should handle everyday photography well, but buyers looking for long-range optical zoom may want to consider a different flagship.
Battery & Charging
The 9,100mAh battery is arguably the Neo 11 Ultra’s biggest headline feature.
It uses silicon-carbon battery technology and supports 100W wired charging. iQOO claims around 13.7 hours of continuous mobile gaming and up to 23 hours of video playback, although real-world battery life will naturally vary according to usage.
The huge battery gives the Neo 11 Ultra a major advantage for gamers, travelers and users who spend long periods away from a charger.
Battery highlights
- 9,100mAh battery
- Silicon-carbon battery technology
- 100W wired charging
- Long gaming endurance
- Long video playback
The downside is simple: a battery this large contributes to the phone’s weight and thickness.
Audio & Connectivity
The Neo 11 Ultra is designed as a modern flagship with high-speed connectivity and features expected from a premium performance phone.
It supports modern 5G connectivity along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The phone also includes stereo audio and USB-C connectivity.
For gamers, low-latency connectivity and responsive touch input are particularly important.
Features & Gaming
Gaming is the heart of the Neo 11 Ultra.
The combination of the Dimensity 9500M, Q2 gaming chip, 144Hz display and large battery gives the phone a strong gaming-focused hardware package.
The Q2 chip can assist with gaming image processing, while the advanced cooling system is designed to maintain performance during longer sessions.
The large battery is also useful here because demanding games can drain conventional smartphone batteries quickly.
Price & Availability
The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra has launched in China.
Launch reports put the starting price at around 3,399–3,699 yuan, depending on the configuration and source, with higher storage variants costing more. The highest reported configuration reaches 4,399 yuan for 16GB + 512GB.
An official international or India launch has not been confirmed.
