Vivo has officially launched the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Pakistan, bringing a large battery, a curved AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset to the mid-range smartphone segment.
The new smartphone stands out for its combination of a high-capacity battery and a slim design. However, there is an important detail buyers should know: the Vivo V80 Lite name is being used for different regional variants. The Pakistan model comes with a 7,050mAh battery, while Vivo has separately confirmed a Malaysian version with a much larger 10,000mAh battery.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G: Key Specifications
The Pakistan version features a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, giving users a choice between two storage configurations.
The smartphone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
Camera Setup
On the back, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G has a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera.
For selfies and video calls, there is a 32MP front-facing camera.
While the camera hardware looks familiar for this segment, the main 50MP Sony sensor should be the more important component for everyday photography.
7,050mAh Battery With 44W Charging
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G packs a 7,050mAh battery and supports 44W charging. It also supports bypass charging, which can be useful for users who play games or perform demanding tasks while the phone is connected to a charger.
The large battery should make the phone particularly attractive to users who prioritize endurance over having the thinnest possible device.
Built for Durability
Vivo has also focused on durability. It carries IP68 and IP69 ratings and has five MIL-STD-810H certifications.
The company has also subjected the phone to drop testing across seven surfaces, giving the device an additional durability angle beyond its battery and display features.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G Price
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G has launched in Pakistan at a starting price of PKR 124,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.
The Pakistan pricing should not be directly converted into an Indian retail price, because regional pricing, taxes and configurations can differ.
What About the 10,000mAh Vivo V80 Lite?
This is where things get interesting.
Vivo Malaysia has confirmed another Vivo V80 Lite 5G for launch on September 3, 2026. This version will feature a huge 10,000mAh battery and will be introduced in Malaysia.
The Malaysian model is also expected to have a different design from the Pakistan version. Vivo has confirmed a 6.83-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, while the phone is expected to feature a flat design and multiple colour options.
Reports also indicate that the Malaysian version could use a different chipset and charging configuration, which means buyers should be careful when reading Vivo V80 Lite specifications online.
Is the Vivo V80 Lite Coming to India?
As of August 24, Vivo has not officially confirmed the Indian launch details for the V80 Lite 5G.
There are reports suggesting that an Indian version could be related to the Vivo S2.
For Indian buyers, it is therefore better to wait for an official Vivo announcement before assuming the Pakistan or Malaysian specifications will be sold in India.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G: First Impressions
On paper, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G has several features that could make it competitive in the mid-range market.
The curved 120Hz AMOLED display gives it a premium-looking specification sheet, while the Dimensity 7360-Turbo should provide enough performance for everyday apps, social media, streaming and gaming.
The 7,050mAh battery is arguably the phone’s biggest advantage in the Pakistan version. Meanwhile, the upcoming Malaysian version takes the battery concept even further with a 10,000mAh cell.
However, the regional differences make the V80 Lite lineup slightly confusing. Buyers should check the exact model and specifications available in their country before making a purchase.
